Discover the World-famous Silicon Valley and Learn More About the Technology that Changed our World Forever

Tour Description

Discover California’s Silicon Valley and learn more about the people behind the high-technology that has changed our world forever. This discovery, guided tour, is available daily, and highly-recommended to everyone. Our tour leaders are the first to lead guided tours to Silicon Valley and are extremely passionate and knowledgeable guides. They personalize each excursion and tailor the trip based on your travel needs, special interests, and schedule. We offer complimentary pickup and drop-off at San Jose and San Francisco International airports.

Please note: Silicon Valley covers a large geographical area, which makes it extremely hard to see and visit in one day. Please let us know more about your interests and the sights, companies, and or, museums you would like to visit so we can customize your private tour accordingly.

Geographically, Silicon Valley covers the entire southern half of the San Francisco Peninsula and the southern portions of the East Bay, and extends to San Mateo and Santa Clara counties; both located in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay in Northern California.

Silicon Valley is home to the world’s largest high-tech corporations, as well as thousands of tech startup companies. These high-tech corporations are based in different cities including: Campbell, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, Cupertino, Milpitas, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Mateo, San Carlos, Menlo Park, Freemont, Redwood City, and Foster City. Even some locals get lost driving through this huge valley of over 2 million people. Choose one of the options below so we can make the most of this day private trip:

Excursion and option # 1: This excursion is a popular full-day guided tour of Silicon Valley, combining a walking guided tour of Stanford University in Palo Alto, with a private or semi-private guided tour of Intel Museum, and a public or a self-guided tour of the Computer History Museum. This option is recommended for techy visitors and families to explore the best colleges and museums of Silicon Valley in-depth rather than spending the day driving between points A and B.

Your local tour leader will also offer you options and trips to view high-tech corporations and sights from afar, such as HP in Palo Alto, or Steve Job's former home in Los Altos. We will drive you to other sites of interest like Apple Headquarters and gift shop (time permitting), Googleplex (from outside), NASA from inside and outside (time permitting), downtown Palo Alto, where you might spot celebrities like Mark Zuckerberg. Don’t worry about the itinerary, sit back, tell your tour guide what you would like to see, relax, and leave the driving to us!

Excursion and option # 2: This tour option includes a full-day sightseeing trip to Silicon Valley to visit Intel Museum, the Computer History Museum, Santana Row, and/or the Winchester Mystery House. Your tour leader will offer you more stops on the way to see famous corporations and sites of interest like Oracle, Facebook, Apple Headquarters gift shop, Googolplex, NASA, downtown Palo Alto, and David Packard's garage (the birthplace of Silicon Valley). This tour option is for visitors who are not interested in the Stanford University walking tour.

Excursion and option # 3: This full-day trip is for visitors who want to see everything in one day. You can stop at the famous high-tech corporations of Silicon Valley and take pictures of yourself at: Oracle, Facebook, Apple Headquarters’ Company store and gift shop, Googleplex, Intel, downtown Palo Alto, Stanford University, PayPal, Yahoo!, Amazon Lab 126, Tesla Motors, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field Museum, the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, and or HP Garage in Palo Alto. This express tour is recommended for first-time visitors to Silicon Valley who have no special interests in museums or universities. For families with kids; you may consider the Children's Discovery Museum, the Tech Museum of Innovation, or California's Great America amusement park for more fun.

There is no need to worry about the itinerary. Your tour guide will take care of the rest, and talk to you on the way to Silicon Valley about your special interests, tailoring this trip to meet your interests and tour needs.
